9 Days of Devotions as we walk with Christ to the cross
I’m inviting you to join me in a walk with Christ to the cross. I’ve written 9 days of devotions that will take us from the day before Palm Sunday all the way to Resurrection Sunday, Easter. I can’t tell you how changed I’ve been in writing this devotion.
I’ve taken the gospel accounts that correlate to each day of Holy Week and read the scripture, studied commentaries, prayed, reflected, and written. I’ve compiled harmonizing scriptures from other gospels for you as well.
I’ve seen things in Scripture I’ve never seen before. I’ve read the gospel accounts of the journey to the cross many times in my life, but I’ve never spent weeks sitting so deeply in so few verses.
With only days left until He died and rose, I’m in awe seeing what His final days looked like. What did he say, why, to whom? What would your final days look like?
In writing this devotion, God has answered a prayer I’ve been crying out to Him. “Lord, my faith feels dry and brittle. Revive my heart and awaken my spirit. Make me fall more in love with You.”
This is my prayer for you as well. Are you in need of a little personal revival? Are you ready to slow down and prepare your heart for the moment everything in all of history would forever be changed? Are you looking for a guide to keep in you in the scriptures during the Easter season? If so I hope you will join us!!
